Hands On Pad and Quill Little Black Book Review

If the Little Pocket Book is out of your budget then this is the case that started it all for Pad and Quill, and it’s better than ever. Check out our hands on review this little black gem of an iPhone 5 book case!

Little Case, Lots Of Heart

Made to look and feel like a moleskin journal, this case combines the old world with the new world and does it with style. The exterior is made from Spanish bonded leather that is soft to the touch. It has a hole on the back to allow for the camera, and it is all secured shut with the traditional moleskin elastic band.

Hand made like a hardback book, inside there is real bookbindery cloth which is available in multiple colors like French Roast, Camden Blue, Cranberry Red, Field Green, and Plum. There is also a precision milled tray for the iPhone to slip into. Rubber bumpers hold the iPhone in place very securely, but you can still slide it out easily. One change with this version of the case is that the bookmark at the bottom is now there just for cosmetic and style purposes. It used to help with removing the iPhone from the tray, but that’s no longer necessary with the new design.

Now Thinner Than Ever!

If you are already a Pad and Quill fan, you will immediately notice how thin this case is, easily their thinnest yet, thanks to the thinner form factor of the iPhone 5, it feels great in the hand, and looks very cool. This new version also comes with an Internal Pocket option as well, for those who want to store a card or two or some cash.

Handmade with love, the Pad and Quill Little Black Book is a great case, and a great deal for $39.99.
